Home J/H'S HISTORY PHOTO ALBUM MARIPOSA TIBBITS LINKS

The following pictures are of just a few of the homes I have designed in the Mariposa area. There are many more that I will gradually add. I have recently purchased a digital camera system and am taking all new pictures for this web page..

Just click on any small image to see the large picture of it.

The first house shown is a 2-story on a sloping parcel, therefore there is parking for a boat or? under the front deck. The first floor has an extra high ceiling permitting coffered ceilings plus many other special features; like a separate pool room, dining room, living room, family room and enough bedrooms and baths to keep all of the grand kids..  Maybe even their grand kids' parents too.

This is a one story with a large 2 car garage + a separate workshop. The house is fit on a fairly steep slope in a manner to maximize the view of the lower meadow and tree area where deer can be seen quite often.

What is a country home without covered porches, an open deck to sit and watch the stars (even when some are falling), a windmill and some barns?

Perhaps you like more trees? There are so many here that it is hard to get a picture of the house to show the details.

The next is a large beautifully decorated, by the owner, home with all of the latest built-ins, a kitchen that she designed with the top of everything, and a large great room with a window dormer lighting the large stone fireplace on the opposite wall. The large front deck invites you to relax in the shade of the large trees. The side covered porch looks more like a front door with its inviting garden and stairs leading up to the breakfast or snack area.

Ps. The horses were a bit camera shy but at least they let me use their corral to take these pictures.

I will continually be adding to this album so please come back soon..
